Fitting
The upper is lasted, the sole attached, and the pair is finished.

The upper is drawn over the wooden last and lasted into shape, then left to take the form of the foot before the bottom is built.
The sole is attached according to its type — stitched and glued, or glued alone — and the edges, heel and finish are worked up by hand.
The last comes out, the insole goes in, and the shoes are yours. We ask you to come back after a few weeks of wear so anything can be eased or adjusted.
Lasting and soling
From last to laces, a pair made only for your feet.
Then a lifetime of resoling, and a last with your name on it.
